Worn, not voted.
Every number on this site came off somebody's wrist.
We wear the bottles we test and write down what happened. No panels, no star ratings from strangers, no numbers copied off a supplier sheet. This page says exactly how a measurement is made, so you can decide whether to trust it — and so anyone quoting us knows what they are quoting.

How one wear is recorded
Two sprays, bare skin
Two sprays to the inner wrist on clean skin. Nothing else worn that day, no lotion underneath, no layering. Same placement every time, so wears can be compared.
Checked hourly
The wearer checks on the hour. Longevity is the last full hour the scent is still detectable at arm's length — not the last trace found by pressing a nose to the skin.
Projection in three words
Soft, moderate or strong, judged in the first two hours. Soft stays on the skin. Moderate is noticed by someone sitting next to you. Strong fills the room.
One score, same day
A single 0-10 score from the person who wore it, written the same day. It is an opinion and we label it as one. Two people wearing the same bottle keep two scores; we never average them into a verdict.
Signed and dated
Every wear carries its wearer label and the date, and lives at its own permanent address. Nothing is edited after the fact — a wear we disagree with later stays up.
Batch by batch
Fragrance changes between production batches. Where we have worn more than one batch of the same bottle, both sets of hours are published side by side.
What we refuse to claim
- No measurements on unworn bottles. If neither of us has worn it, the page shows facts only — house, name, size, published notes — and says "not measured yet". Absent is not zero.
- No borrowed opinions. We do not publish reviews, scores or longevity figures we did not produce ourselves.
- No pretending. These are inspired-by fragrances, sold under the name of the house that made them. We say "inspired by" proudly and never use counterfeit language.
- No promises we can't keep. Fragrance is a flammable liquid: US ground shipping only, never air, never expedited.
